Preparations for this year's Gunner Tour are being finalised. Our apologies for the lateness of this posting which is due to communications difficulties beyond our control.
The President, RACC, has granted approval for the tour and the necessary authority for the tour to proceed has been sought from the Army Sports Control Board, Army Cricket Association and the South African Defence Advisor.

The RACC will play a friendly match with HAC on Sunday, 01 September, at Armoury House. The admin letter is attached. Members are reminded to login to be able to view and download the document. After the 182nd Gunner-Sapper match which, despite being a draw, saw the most exciting finish in many years with either side capable of achieving a win, we meet the Sappers, again, in the Power Cup Plate final at ACA Aldershot, on Wednesday, 24 July. Bails on at 11:30 and the opportunity to secure the silverware.

The highlight of our cricket calendar and the oldest, most famous and passionately competed match series within the British Army is with us again. The 182nd Gunner - Sapper Match will take place at the Sharp Ground, Larkhill, on 18, 19 and 20 July.
We have allowed our old adversaries, the Sappers, to win the two previous matches and now the pressure is very much on to stop the hat-trick.
The Gunner squad list for the match has required very serious consideration at a time when player availability, due to commitments, is ever pressing. The selection has been made and is available to view and download from the attachment to this posting. Players are reminded to log-in to access the squad selection and admin letter. Squad members are also requested to confirm, with the Secretary, their availability for pre-match training on 17 July, in addition to the fixture, at the earliest possible time.
